Last night Azzi and I hung out at the airport. KLIA is one of the best airports in the world, you know. (Just because I had loads I had fun last night, I won't go into how Malaysia has a knack for stucturing the biggest, tallest and best buildings, but can't keep something as simple as the city's drainage system straight.) Anyway. So yea. We hung at out KLIA. I wish I had pictures, but I have this terrible habit of bringing my digicam with me when I don't need/want to take pictures, or not bringing it with me when I do. :( I don't normally like going to the airport. I associate that place with farewells, because too many people have left me while I myself have travelled so little. Well, actually, I've travelled plenty, but that was when I was a kid...I think I'd appreciate travelling a whole lot more right now. So of course being at the airport awoke my desire to hop on a plane and just go somewhere. I kept noticing the other people there, actual travellers and passengers, thinking to myself (while feeling slightly bitter), Where are they going? Why can't it be me instead? Among the flights leaving last night were to Rome, Zurich, Chennai, Abu Dhabi and Newark. And also some place called Incheon, which I think is somewhere in Korea. (North? South? My guess is as good as yours!) Too bad the only place me and Azzi ended up was at Burger King. But no, I'm making the trip out to be too much of a bad experience. I really had loads of fun. Ironically, I think the best part was actually not going anywhere. Being at an airport with Azzi, neither of us leaving the other...Now, that was nice. Next time I must remember to bring my camera.
