********************************************** today i had cheerleading practice which was a ton of fun..all except the part when we got our new uniforms. they are excruciatingly ugly. so i came home and read 2 chapters in the odyssey which is surprisingly really good. i'm actually enjoying it. then i got a call from my section leader from marching band reminding me of the "optional" practice tonight for 2 1/2 hours and both of my flute friends won't even be there. and at the moment my parents are having a serious discussion with my brother at the dinner table & practice starts in 7 minutes so i highly doubt i'm going. my parents said it was my choice but didn't think it would hurt. they're actually really cool bout stuff like that. but of course, knowing me, i was seriously considering going just b/c i'm a "good girl" like that. i'm glad that i push myself to be my best but sometimes it just gets downright boring. believe it or not i actually just wish i had a date tonight so i could get away from everything and be around someone new.
