Firm Foundations 05

"I can't tell you how much I long for you to enter this WIDE OPEN spacious life" WAHOOO!!!! :D yay!! firm foundations was brilliant :) am sooo glad i went! The 5 days seemed to go quickly at the time, but seem so long looking back, but it was strange leaving. I didnt know anyone except Lisa before going, but sooo many people talked to me & everyone was friendly, and so despite her being in meetings a fair bit, i wasnt lonely & was looked after and had a good time. organising & sorting minibuses was my main job, and at times pretty stressful, but theres such a sense of achievement afterwards when everything is over & everyone is back in one piece, i enjoyed the challenge & the responsibility. i've found myself a GB company in Southampton, which i've been invited to join, which is cool. Lisa said she'd come & visit me if i went to southampton uni cos her brother lives nearby, which is brill. It gives me even more motivation to get there (altho not to revise) & makes me think that is where i'm meant to be. I've had such a laugh over the weekend, and a great time, even tho i wasnt well sat/sun but i was looked after. Monday night was a laugh. Its one experience i won't forget, and i hope to be back next year, i couldnt however have done it without lisa, my enourmous gratitude goes to her. i thought about FF last year but didnt want to go on my own & had no transport, this year she's got me involved before hand and at the event, taken me there & back, looked after me, spent time with me & generally been a really good friend. we realised we've known each other longer than we realised, nearly 4 years! and altho we dont see each other very often she's been really encouraging & good to me.
