I thought I'd let my readers know that I did finally find Crybaby Bridge. Its definately a creepy place. Its in the middle of nowhere in a really thick forest and its best going there on a moonlight night or else you won't see your hand in front of your face. I went there with 3 other friends this time and when we got there we shut the car off in the middle of the bridge and got out. Theres graffiti all over the bridge including its name in big white spray painted letters in the deadcenter. You look around and all you can see are trees and darkness. Once you adjust your eyes to it you can see the small creek below the bridge but barely. My experience was like this: we get out the car and light up a J and scope out the area being as quiet as possible just to listen. And then alll of us need to piss at the same time so we do right off the bridge. Then we stand there for alittle while smoke some cigs and then when all the embers are out we hear a noise. Its footsteps and rustling leaves and then some sort of barking. We jump in the car and hightail it.
This was my first visit.
Now here's my second visit.
3 nights later I take with me 2 more people that haven't been there. Same thing as before basically up until the part we hear barking. This time I hear voices.. atleast 3 of them. I hear a faint whisper of alittle girl. My passengers hear it to and freak out and get back in the car, as do I except my friend Deathmetal Dan whos standing outside yelling at the top of his lungs "Do something!" trying to antagonise the spirits and just being a dick. We sit there on the bridge with the car on and sitting in neutral. I had heard a story from a close friend who did the same thing and something pushed his car off the bridge and further down the road. I do the same thing and nothing happens. Because I wanted something to happen I roll down my window and yell out "If there are any spirits here move the car!"... nothing. I yell again "Move the goddamn car!".. nothing. I yell one more time "if you have any power whatsoever you'll move this fucking car!" Then I hear two male voices to eachother outside the car coming closer so I freak out and drive away. I ask my passengers if their alright and they all say yeah except Deathmetal Dan who is unresponsive which is weird considering how he was acting earlier. I say his name like 3 times and ask if hes alright and in my rearview mirror I see him look up and he says "Right before you shifted gears I got an overwhelming feeling of sadness" and he felt a sudden chill which was weird because I had the heat on in my car for the first time ever. We get back to town and everythings fine but we're just alittle creeped out by what we experienced.
All in all, with each visit Crybaby Bridge lives up to its legacy.
