Today we had a band festival. The day seemed to creep by slowly although math was ok... I don't know what happend I like had brain juice or something today and I might have figured out this number thing. Ok well I'll tell you if I figured it out tomorow. Ok so all day I'm sitting here nervous and dreading fourth period. So finally fourth period comes and the nerves really hit and I start shivering (that's what happens when I'm nervous). So then I probably looked like I was about to faint. I got dressed almost the last one and headed out to the bus. I was on bus 2. I got on and sat with my friend. We talked and messed around and then when we got to the school we walked out and went into the auditorium where a band was setting up to play. We began to listen to the bands play and they were AWEFUL! Omg I've never heard something so out of tune. I guess I'm just used to my band. So my section leader was 1 seat away from me. My section leader fell asleep and it was SOOOOOOO CUTE! omg I was saying how cute it was the whole time. So then he would wake up and he didn't even know that all the bands had finished. So finally it was our turn to get ready. We went and got our instruments and went into the cramped warm up room. We warmed up and I was extremly sharp. So then we went on stage and started playing. My solos went alright. Hopefully I can get a cd of how we did. I'm not sure but... Anyway so we played our songs and then went off and went to the sight reading room. There we sight read a beautiful peice called "Prelude and Dance" and we played that really well. So then we put our instruments back in the truck and headed for the busses. When we got on the busses we got word that we got strait 1s! Yea! WE're supirior. Ok so ya my band dirrector will be pleased. I'm proud ~lilangel
