Awards day, the worst day in the year. It's the one day where teachers choose favorites. They may not say it but it's true. It's demoralizing and depressing. It's the one day a year when your feelings and hopes are crushed. You get your hopes up each time an award is described then someone else's name is called. It's when you are put down and hurt by teachers. It's horrible. After the day when each teacher has called their class' awards and you have nothing it makes you feel like scrap. Like you have nothing. Like everyone else is better than you. Why do the teachers do this? Maybe it's because they are trying to torture the soul inside. Maybe they just don't know... I just don't understand awards day. Each class period you sit and wait as each award is called. IT IS DEMORALIZING!!! Now when you see basically everyone with some sort of award it makes you feel so horrible. I HATE AWARDS DAY!!! The good students, the shy ones are NEVER recognized. Why is that? I don't know... But anyway here's my day Nothing... I actually played basketball with my sister and I STUDDIED for a test. I don't need to study for tests all the time...
