work is awesome...now at least i remember back when, after the pit party. ashley and brittany were still pissed at me, they wouldnt talk to me. the whole "non-talking" thing lasted like, 3 or 4 months. it really sucked cuz it made work miserable and i wanted to quit. i dreaded working with them. now everythings different tho, they grew outta the anger. we have a blast at work now, i love IGA and im so happy i work there. i am grateful. yesterday worked with ashley and chelsea and riley at night. it was a blast, ashley and i joked and had fun the whole night. she went home early at 7 (chelsea had gone home by 6) and then i told riley to go home at 7:30 cuz there was no need for her to stay. 8:00 roles around, riley now has my entire counter wrapped and was STILL there. but she left then....leaving me with NOTHING TO DO till 9:50. so i killed off two hours. lol, turned on the radio, danced, read magazines, served the odd customer. There was only me, chris, nathan and Tracy A for manager (Tracy A is the best closing manager ever, she loves to have fun!!!) also pigged out....lol, me and nathan were eating donuts, samples of cake, the broken bags of candy in the customer service. lol and we took cookies from the bakery, and took the decorating icing (for cakes) and wrote our names on the cookies. then ate them :D hahahaha. Nathan and i had a blast all night...had a 15 minute spray bottle water fight consisting of us chasing each other around the tables in the deli spraying the hell outta each other with the cleaners... lmfao. then he brought out the towels, so i was screaming "SECURITY TO THE DELI PLEASE!" out loud. hahaha. there were also three florescent light bulbs that were burnt out. which meant going out behind IGA and smashing em :D lol, i played golf with one, and Nathan and i broke the other two Star Wars style. fun times! hahaha, i got glass in my ear :S drove nathan home, he made me come in to his house to meet his dog...it was cute ill give him that. today worked with ashley, trisha, chelsey and stacey. only spent two hours with the four of em, then it was down to me and trisha and ashley. so much fun was had again, we talked the whole time. bout the customers we were serving, a ton on the animals we used to/still own. and a lot bout grad too, but that was just me and ashley. things are really picking up at the deli, and im enjoying work so much more now. brittany and i get a long so much better too! hahaha, today we were making fun of this one guys hair...it was the "Bald Fro"...kinda hard to explain but freaken hilarious to see! and this one guys asked ashley if he could try the Hot Capacolli. So she gave him a slice, hes eating it and then all of a sudden u hear "HOLY DINAH THATS HOT!!" LOL, seriously, who says holy dinah? it was soo funny we laughed about it all day. today was our Deli Dare Day....lol, trisha and i were trying all these weird meats cuz we were bored / adventorous. it was fun. really IGA is great...im thankful for my job :)
