Yesterday.

Feeling: successful
Ok so last night we went to Hollywood. I took Theron with me and we went with my mom and Ron and Steve. It was cool. First we went to Guitar Center because I wanted to get a guitar tuner for Jordan, and also some strings, but I wasn't sure which ones to get her. And Theron had never been to Guitar Center...the only thing was that neither of us can play any instruments, so it was strange being there. We kept having people that worked there come up to us and ask us if we needed any help or whatever. I swear the employees at Guitar Center outnumbered the customers like...68 to 1. It was crazy. But we got the tuner and then looked at keyboards and such while my mom and Ron and Steve looked around at other things. Then we went outside and looked at the handprints from famous people in the ground. Not the little star things, but like Black Sabbath and Aerosmith and Eric Clapton and stuff like that. Theron was desperately trying to find Trent Reznor's handprints but they weren't there. Then my mom came out with some guy that worked at the store and they unlocked this door that led to the gift shop...and she got us t-shirts which was pretty cool. They had the platform boots that KISS wore in there as part of their museum thingy. I still think Ron should have bought them...he probably has enough money. He could have worn them to Amoeba. And then I could have worn them to school. Yes. But alas...he did not purchase them. Then we went to Amoeba, which was just down the street. Both are on Sunset. Theron and I went in while my mom and Ron parked. It seemed to take them forever to park whenever they parked anywhere that day...hmm... Like when we went to Mel's after Amoeba they didn't come in for like...15 minutes or so. I don't even want to know what they were doing...they didn't have any trouble parking or anything. Eww. Ok... But we went to Amoeba. It was totally dead in there! Usually I have issues just finding anything because there are tons of people there. But not last night...that was cool, though. I got Pearl Jam - Ten (my dad lost it or something...either way it's missing) and Alice in Chains - MTV Unplugged (My dad I know scratched it up...he doesn't ever use cd cases and leaves the cds lying around and the cds he borrows from me always turn to shit. Which is what happened to this one...). But I'm happy now I have new copies. Yess...Theron was looking for Alec Empire. We couldn't find it anywhere in the rock section. Then we looked in the European section for some reason...now that I think about it it should have been obvious it was in the Electronica section. We had to go ask the information guy first, though. Heh...but we found it eventually. He got one of those cds and a NIN one. I knew that one looked familiar because I have the record version...I bought it when I got a record player years ago. Totally forgot I had it. After we found Alec Empire I went to look for Lacuna Coil in the rock section, but it wasn't there. It said to go to the gothic/industrial section. We went over there and I found Lacuna Coil, but there was this weird dude in the way. And he wouldn't move...he was RIGHT in the way. I stood there, thinking he would move or something. I wasn't looking at him, though. I was concentrating on the cds. Then my mom came over and saw the dude and was like Sam...come over here for a second...I guess she saw the dude's face and he was on some major drugs or something. He smelled like shit...and something else. I don't know what it was. But my mom said there was something majorly wrong with him and for me to just like...not go over there. Theron said he saw the dude putting tapes into his jacket. Ha. But yea I'm glad he didn't like attempt to stab me or something. But alas...no Lacuna Coil. Then we paid, which was easy because there was like...no line. The guy at the register gave me like 8 bumper stickers though! It was super awesome... Then we went down to the parking garage while my mom went to go find Ron. We waited down there for a while before they came down. I was going crazy, though, because I couldn't lean against the walls down there. I mean, it's Hollywood. I'm sure they're like...diseased. To say the least. But I couldn't resist the temptation and found a somewhat clean spot and leaned...I'm so sad. Heh. But I was afraid to go over and see if Ron's car was unlocked...it would probably self-destruct. Or shock me at the very least. An invisible forcefield. So I didn't wanna touch it. It was so sad though. We were totally expecting to see some weird people. Transvestites...women with beards...all things Jordan and I have seen there before. But there weren't any there last night...lame. And this time I had a camera, too. Blah. Oh well. Maybe next time? We went to Mel's drive-in next. But we didn't drive in. We went inside, which I think kind of defeated the purpose of it being a drive-in? Oh well. That's when it took so long for my mom and Ron to come in with us. They sent us in ahead of them to get a table (eww). So we waited like 15 minutes for them to finally come in. Our waiter dude was kinda weird. Like..I dunno what he was on but he acted weird. But then it's Hollywood. Once again. And it seemed that the later we were there, the more people showed up. The opposite of Santa Clarita. But I would rather live in Hollywood in like a loft or something than Valencia. We left and, of course, my mom had to play her music that she bought at Amoeba. Blah. It was a cd that she already had but like...felt the need to buy again? Because my dad took the other copy I guess...but still. Blech. It was funny. I didn't notice how much Jordan talks until she wasn't there. But Theron actually talked a lot more because he like...had an opportunity. It was cool. But Jordan was haunting us the entire time...when I got the bumper stickers I was like oh I'll save one for Jordan...and then Ron was like Why isn't Jordan here? We should have stuffed her in the back of the car. It was just funny...and then I was looking for HIM cds or singles that Jordan didn't have, but of course I don't know anymore. So many... But we ended up getting home around...11:30 ish. Or to my uncle's at least. Then my mom took forever to say goodbye to Ron and we went into the "truck" because I was freezing. I turned the heater on and it blew cold air on me again. It eventually got warm...but my brother took it upon himself to start the car and drive up the street once. I was sitting in the passenger seat and Theron was in the back. I was sure that he would run into something but luckily he didn't...I think I drank too much soda that night. I was like hyper-ish when we got to my uncle's to pick up the truck. I'm sorry..."truck." After my mom finally got to our car we took Theron home. By that time my soda high had worn off (it took her that long) and I was tired. So yea...went home. Went to sleep. But this morning my idiot brother had Saturday School. The one time I got Saturday School, I had to do like...hard labor for almost 3 hours. It sucked...my arms were really sore for days after. And all I did was I was late to school. But my brother gets Saturday School and he gets to watch a fucking MOVIE. That's it! And he got it for a worse reason. I don't remember what, but he actually DID something. Makes no sense..and his friend was there too. But oh well. Blah. OH! My dogs came back. Finally..they left on like...Thursday. And just came back today. I called my mom to tell her because she was out having coffee as usual and she like...started crying over the phone she was so happy. Her dog was one of the ones missing and she was like...really sad he was gone and might not come back. But she just gave him a bath and she's brushing him...I'm glad they came back. Bastards. Um...can't think of more...so....bye?
