Today Dan and I have been dating one month. It seems like longer, but I've only seen him 4-5 times in that month because of his camp thing. Which is done now, and I'm happy. I'm gonna be sappy for a sec, everyone please forgive lol. I'm so much happier with Dan than I was with Alex, there's no comparision even. Dan and I were friends first, and I think that makes the difference. We can talk, and do, about a ton of seperate things, and I love that, because the only other guy I really really talk to a lot is Steve. Alex and I didn't have anything in common really, and so we didn't talk much...we didn't do much of anything, just hung out and watched TV quietly or went to a basketball game because there was nothing else to do. There are some days that, yeah, all Dan and I do is veg out, but in between, on most days, we DO something. Today we went swimming with Steve and Megan, tomorrow we're going running at the CCC (he decided to do XC instead of football because he loves to run), and who knows what next. We have more in common and I love. Plus, he's so sweet and cavalier...he insists on paying and opens doors and everything, even though I wish he'd let me pay once in awhile, just to be fair. Cuddly too, lol, but I don't know if he'd want me to say it lol, even though I just did. :) I guess all I wanted to say, throughout this entire speech lol, is that I'm so happy, I feel liked and I like that lol. Today was great, like I said, we all went swimming at the South State and then hung out at Steve's house till 5:00-ish and went to China Buffet, then Dukes of Hazzard with Jake. It's a funny movie btw. Poor Dan, Jake really liked him lol, he tried to tackle him, or jumped on his neck, stuff he does to Steve normally, and was just all around insane today, lol. I apologized to Dan for it, and tried to get Jake to quit, but Dan said it was ok, and not to worry. Next time though it won't happen, I'll protect him lol. Steve was quiet when we got back from the movies - he said nothing was wrong when I asked, but I don't know, I'll try talking to him later, when there's not Meg, Jake, Dan, or his parents around. Anyways...I really should sleep if I'm gonna run tomorrow lol, I'm getting up early every day this week either to run, work, or volunteer! It's ok, makes me feel like I accomplished something lol.
