Relative Destiny

Feeling: awesome
Oh yea, o I had a pretty good day today. Math quiz - killed it. (and by killed I mean did well on - not like bombed) I then had a presentation in my next class - that went extremely well. I guess it was a good thing that two of our group members were away because then each person had more to say and they did a damn good job. Kudos to all of you. After that there was business which was alrght I guess and finally history which was just notes, chocolates, pens and looks. Good ole Friday the Thirteenth - any of you superstitious out there? I am, but not regarding stupid things like this. Well, at least I think they're stupid. I don't believe in the black cat, mirror, ladder walking and all that rubbish. I don't know - are you? I don't know - I just don't see the value in getting all worked up over this kinda stuff. "In my experience, there's no such thing in luck." A wise man once said that and I believe it. Lady luck has never tangoed with me nor has she ever knocked upon my door. Fate, destiny these exist but only as a setness. Not to say that everything along the way is mapped out; as humans we would never accept or settle well with that but there is something planned for all of us. This is not coming from a religion stand point for I am not convinced of that the binding/ controling power in the universe is God or anything we can fathom at all. What I will concede to is the fact that there must be something if not something(s) that have some form of power over things. Not us, but just to keep the varibales in control. Cause if you really think about it, it is really a 'maricle' figuartively, that the earth is where it is. If it were 330 kilometres away or closer to the sun we wouldn't be here right now. You wouldn't be reading this and I certainly wouldn't have been here to be typing it. It's really awkward, really is. There's got to be a purpose, a certain test if you will. Ever watch star trek TNG? Remember the character Q? Yea, only I don't think that it's so sarcastic. Just doesn't make sense that this has all happened so randomly. Sorta makes you think what this is all for- what's the greater meaning of it all. At times I almost think that it's merely a test just to see how long it'll take for us to self destruct. It's bound to happen and there's no stoping it. Our much more civil civilizations are just the development of humanity's blindness and falsehood. And that's the truth. Take a look at all the great rising and fallages of the past - they all yielded to the ideal that they were the best thing - granted they may have been the greatest thing for the time - so comparitively, yes they were the greatest thing; but objectively they were not so great. Even ourselves, we can't even do what we imagine and when we put what we do, and compare it to our potential, we ought to be ashamed. Though we can't fully blame ourselves, can we? If we agree upon this fate thing, we must agree that the fact that we, ourselves are limited, for our abilities are relative to our destiny - not vice versa. Or could the fact that we only think this be evidence to the fact that our destiny is relative to our abilities. That would mean that destiny is not constant but instead dependant because our abilities are always changing. And is that what our definition truly is? I think not. Now it is feasible that our very own definition/ idea of fate is flawed but I do not believe this is the case. No human would want to, for that would mean that everything we know and hold true to be good may just be the reverse. The Starry oil driven future of the west, terrorism and glory in the east, drug lords and drug wars out of south america... The only thing that remains true is the ice in the northern Russia. Speaking of Russia and communism, would the fact that we do not know anything discount the many works of all philosophers and great thinkers? Thinking in itself is not merely human nature but is neccessary for survival - to turn it all off would mean certain distruction - even if you take away all of the circumstances built by ourselves and reduce the entire world to almost nothingness. So now thinking being established and mandatory for the continual assurance of superiority and survival I ask to what degree is necessary? Were the political thinkers onto something or was their search unnessecary? A fools errand: supported by a pound of foolhardiness and a mere ounce of logic. If this be the case then we cannot help but admit that they spent an entire lifetime chasing an unobtainable and unrealistic dream. And if this be the truth then we can only deduce that this be the case regarding us. Think about it. For I know myself have yet to devise a solid, supported and coherant theory. So the question is: "are all other thoughts which do not directly and semi-indirectly support the progression towards what is true of no value, and thus a waste?" That would go against every whim in our humanly instinctive thoughts... Or would it? We like to always distribute a value to all things and thoeries, even if it's a value of 1 (being low) we can now rest easy knowing that is has a value. But no vaule? that in itself can't be a value for we know mathamatically a number over zero is invalid (i.e. 8/0). But then again this sub question of values is as paradoxial as if I said to you that zero over a number actually means something (i.e. 0/8). One way acceptable, another way not... funny how that work eh? So perhaps that we cannot clearly define any of these questions are a direct result of fate's doing. Maybe we are not ready for it and as such, destiny has made it so that we are no shotwn it. Remember that anything it is possible as is what I have said here this evening - it is merely up to you, the reader, to decern how probable it is. Once you have done that you will come to a point in which you may or may not be comfortable with. If you aren't then I suggest you re-evaluate things. If you find that all of it is sitting quite well with you as a person truth and personal definition then I suggest you try to out it up against a larger scale - apply your personalness to the world and see if it jives. The fact that it more then likely won't is more then mere fate or coinscidence my friend. So once again we now are left with the idea of what is destiny and who is to say? As it stands, our feeble minds have yet conjure anything new and/or close to the truth and and so we wonder if one day that shall ever happen. But until that day comes we can only do nothing but think for ourselves for all it takes is one person with the right ideas with the right means and the right connections...
