Best Day o' The Week

Feeling: good
Hello, So it's hump day - the day which is placed symmetrically in the middle of a week. A good indicator that it's half way done and that everything's going to be okay. I think Wednesday is my favorite day of the week - correction, I know it's my favorite day of the week. See, wednesday allows for you to correct mistakes becayse you know that there's going to be another half a week to work out the kinx and then you can start a new on monday cause there's nothing worse then starting out a monday feeling bad or like you're stuck in the same rut. I'm telling ya wednesday is where it's at. In addition to fixing thing, it allows you to make important decisions (good and/or bad) because you know that you'll have a week to see how thing go, test out the waters - let people get over things or get use to things without it being too much of a hassle. Another reason I like this day is because there's two days (really three) before and two days (really three) after which means that if things have gone bad for our first half, you can bring it up on Wednesday and then change it all around for the remainder. Or if things have been really good adn then you have a mediocre wednesday, it might be an indication of what's yet to come or what's going to happen for the second half. Now, I know that people are thinking "cap'n why on earth do you have a favorite day of the week? It's only a bloody day!" But great things can happen on Wednesdays. You can announce things and then give it a coupe of days to spread around fully. And one of the superest things about Wednesday is that you can dedicate things to it and not have to worry about copyright laws. See, if I were to dedicated sometihng to Microsoft or IBM, I might have to get their permission, in fact I might get sued just for using their name just now but my point remains that I can use wednesday as a reason to dedicate things - like this Journal. So I'm sitting here, feeling happy and what not, but I've got no real reason to feel this way. Nothings's changed and things certainly haven't improved. In fact things have gotten slightly worse. Today the people who clean the tables threw away my holder for my deck of cards! Arr! now I've got someone working on a better, newly improved one for me - it's going to be kick-arse! So maybe I should take phrases and dub them down like that, but I didn't want to curse as a sign of happiness - just not necessary. I think you get my point though. Why curse when you can make a fool out of yourself by being all "goody two-shoe" ish. Did you know that that's how the phrase goes? Many people really don't understand/ realize that. Astonishing, simply astonishing. I'm actually liking this semester better then last semester and today I finally got into my roman project. I went to the lubrary today and got out 7 books on it. I originally had ten and then this girl (kinda cute if you wanna know the truth) came into the section I was in and they were talking about ancient civilizations and how the best ones to do are the romans and greeks. Then I looked down at my big pile and felt kinda bad for taking so many books so I put them back and left. I felt somewhat better after that. Maybe it had to do with the fact that when I was walking home the books made my arm slightly sore, or maybe I"m just crazy... but I... I can't explain it. Hopefuly the books I put back were of help to her - hopefully. Woo Hoo, I'm Back in Black. Well, I'm not bressed in all over black - in fact, I'm dressed in all over Blue. It's not like tacky or even those fangle dangle one shade suits you see nowadays. It's blue carpenter jeans and this darker blue checkered shirt. Pretty snazzy if you ask me but then again what do I know about fashion. And speaking of which, I was kinda wondering about that. I'm thinking that, by far, the worst fashion era was the eighties. Basically what it was was The punk stylings gone popular. And by punk I mean punk of those times, not nowadays. And remember how people say :oh, you're just saying that, but in fifty years you'll look back on yourself and woner 'what was I wearing' because that's just the way things go." You know the people who say that? Well I disagree with them wholeheartedly. I look back now on the various styles: 20's, 30's all the way to the ninties and I personally see nothing wrong with it. Actually the twenties with all the mobsters seems pretty cool. That's when gangster meant wearing a brimmed hat and a pin stripped suit. Now you got these punks who don't know nothing about nothing running arond with their "gats" claiming to be the big cheese. I'm telling ya,m if you dump these kids into a war they'd be caught with their pants down. Hell, if you dropped them into the twenties they'd be dead quicker then you could get a quicky. Honestly-they don't know what they're talking about/ doing. And then there's these fools in gangs (which is now a crude representation to the world of organized crime, BTW) who are trying to pull off all of this crap but never can. Here's a hint - if the cops/ babylon know all of your members by name and face then you're not as good as you think you are - you're not even as half as good as you think you are. The only way a cop should recognize the members is if 1. They're all currently in jail 2. The cop is actually a part of the gang. Honest to god - the best groups by far - Hells Angels and the Real Mafia. You need anything pulled off, these are your men. Don't get me wrong - I do not condone their actions or what they get their fingers/ noses into but I'm saying that if you're going to try to something do it right because life is not a reoccuring Wednesday folks. You either go big or go home. Signed, -Captain B. Going Big

I'm also a huge fan of Wednesday..even though today didn't go as well as it could have for me, I'm glad you're doing well. Good for you for being a nice guy and leaving some books for the girl. Hopefully they did help her. -BB

Yeah, Wednesday's not a bad day at all. I can see where your getting at....but about that girl Aww, I see capp'n having a crush. You should talk to her...now I'm not saying go rush into a whole relationship, but dont let anything slip away. Time is like a double agent, it can work for you, and against you. Oh dont listen to me...I'm just a ranting child. Hope your project comes along.

my personal favorite day of the week is saturday, and not just because there's no school, but because it's like the real end of the week, it's like your chance to do something crazy, and then get away with it. not saying i do crazy things on a regular basis, but, yeah, that's why it's my favorite. good luck on your project
