From a Captain to a Captain

Feeling: burdened
Hello, Just watching one of my favorite shows and a very intelligent Captain just said something profound. Granted that anyone can figure this out by themselves but I've always liked this quote ever since I heard it years ago. I guess that is was just played on the tele that it's fresh in my memory so here goes: "I believe that when one is angry, [or saddened] and remains that way for very long time, one grows comfortable with that; much like old leather. And after awhile, as time passes and said person grows exceedingly comfortable with that emotion, one cannot remember feeling any other way." Natrurally that's not the exact quote for I have extreme gaps in my memory; though I heard it not but twenty minutes ago. That's all I really want to write in for today - so that's my thoughts for today... Just My Thoughts. Signed, -Captain B. Leather

Are you angry or saddened, Captain? We all like things we can relate too.

that's really true. but i guess it really applies to anything. if you're around it for a long time, you can't remember what it's like being without it. i guess that's why the end of relationships are so hard to deal with. you get so used to that person that you really don't know what it's like without them, and most of the time, you don't want to know what it's like..
