Train Walking

Listening to: Cream - White Room
Feeling: numb
So, I was going to class when I decided to walk there, needless to say that today was a superb day for walking early on in the morning. Honestly, I can't say that I've felt better about walking then how I did this morning. I had about 4 and a half hours of sleep and yet I walked straight for about an hour and a half. I haven't felt this good since the summer when I was with my girlfriend... and eve that was consumed with a lot of whinning and complaining when we decided to walk anywhere. It's not my fault, I told her that high heels probably weren't the best idea, particularly for what we were doing that day - but no, she just had to be stubbron *shakes fist* but geting back to the topic, I walked what seemed ilke half the town when I know it was probably only like a quarter to a one third. I just didn't do the northern areas; did most of the south though. So anyway, what I'm getting at is that there is honestly nothing like walking after a fresh snow fall. Honestly, there isn't. I found snow that actually glicined (twinkled, sparkeled- whatever you call it) here. It was like the first time I saw untouched clean, sparkeling snow. It was so awesome. Not as awesome as some things I can talk about right now, but it was good nonetheless. The whole thing seemed kind of magical in a sense, though the fact that the loawer quarter of my pant leg is soaked isn't as magical; in fact my mom might just get mad if it doesn't dry off by the time I get home this afternoon. I'm thinking of wearing maybe some shorts tomorrow, but it's only going to be somewhere around 5C, so I don't think that that's a good idea.Back on topic though, I spent a good portion walking like I was in search of the holy grail or something (yes, that was a reference to indian jones) and I did come across something that's worth keeping. Probably not to you guys, but to me anyway. It's alittle spot... well, nont so little because it stretchs for a long way and all, but it's really secluded to a degree. It's the same spot where I found the snow and that's what makes it so special. so I successfully found a new great spot that I'll only probab;y be able to visit a few times more and that's it for the rest of my life. But anyway, let me tell you about it. It's in the industrial area, which kind of sucks, but what it means is that no random kids will be able to come by and ruin it and the adults are too busy working to care. It's awesome. It's so quiet and calm too. except for the occasional train passing by on the non abandoned line. Oh yea, did I mention that this is an abandoned train track? yea - that's my new spot. Pathetic but it has sentimental value. Oh, and when the sun hits a certain point, like it did today it just catches the snow and makes it sparkle like angel dust that was sent down from heaven. And it twinkles against the semi-covered rusted metal and it's such a pretty contrast... man, it so pretty and it gives you so much time to think... like I did today. I spent so long there, but not as much as I wanted to because I found it towards the end of my journey. So tomorrow I'll be leaving earlier and spending more time there. Geez, it's ten oclock and all of this sitting down is really just hurting me. Still though, I'm now thinking about thinking now... all of the stuff that I got accomplished while there. I think I was thinking some crazy things back there actually... And now I'm just sitting here. It's funny because when I stumbled upon it, I started to think that all of this would make a perfect entry, or at least a part of one for today. So from around nine oclock up until now, I've been writing in class. It's alright because I already know what this fool is talking about. So technically, the first thing I thought of was you guys Don't worry - I'm not a total freak. I promise that all thoughts thereafter were about various individuals, people, persons, events, situations and otherwise uncraziness. So yea, that was the highlight of my day other then talking to you. You'll have to forgive me if for some reason you've written me an email and I've yet to get back to you. Today I was swamped with three seperate issues/ problems of other people and have yet to bring things back together under normal control. I promise that before the weekend is over you'll have a good response sitting for you. I don't suspect you'll want to write me back seconds or anything so it's all good. I guess I'll tlak to you later seeing as everything's been dragged out longer then it has to be. I'll see you guys later. -Captain B. Walker

Awww man I wish I had a place like that. It kinda reminds me of the ice area under the bridge that the littl eboy went to in Jack Frost...if you know what I'm talking about. Man I would kill for a place like that....cherish it. Your description of the snow and all sounded beautiful!!!

Well, my friend. I would just like to mention that I live next door to abandoned train tracks so I know exactly what you're talking about. My favorite hang out spot, however, is a beach on the river on some land we own. Well. I've got to go, because I'm in school. Talk to you later, Captain.
