I've heard somewhere that being "straightedge" requires that someone be drug, and alcohol free. I've heard it also takes into account drugs for stuff like headaches and drinking caffeine. Now, I can understand caffeine, but some things need to be treated with drugs, i.e. infections. I also heard someone needs to be religious. That's total bullshit to me. I'm drug and alcohol free. the only drugs I take are for major things. I don't drink pop. (I'm going clean). I guess I'm secluded from being considered "straightedge" because I don't believe in christianity. I believe in religion, but not that one. I'm Celtic. So I am as of now declaring that all non christians may partake in the straightedge campaign for a drug and alcohol free world. I'm getting an X tattooed on my hand pretty soon. For now, it's permanent marker.
