Listening to: Staind - Right Here
Feeling: jolly
I have no idea what this jocund is, but it makes a fun word for me to think of the possibilities of. So anwyay, Cross Country began this morning, 8:30 AM. I thought it was at 7:30, and so did Van, so we both showed up, laughed, slept in our cars till sometime around 8:15, then got his golf clubs out of his trunk and swatted a bit. It was kinda fun, because we both stink horribly, but I think it renewed my liking of golf and willingness to play.
Anyway, had a four miler today, finished in about 34 minutes, second. I only finished second because Ethon got lost, but it was fun. Mr. Hofer beat us; I can atone for that by saying that he's been doing triathlons lately, and is in fact doing one next week. Best of luck!
Ok, so, as I said: updates. This one in the form of a band site update. I'm about 45% finished with it, just finished up the layouts for the bios and the other pages. Now to get InVision Powerboard and make myself another set of forums. Once those are done, I'll post the address so you can talk about some stuff for the band, etc. We actually need to practice, though...which brings me to the next point.
Weds is DnD, perhaps, depending on whether Carla really feels like going all the way out there and back just to basically sit and do nothing. I don't think she will. Thursday may end up being a DnD day, but I'd like it to be a band practice day as well. So, I basically need to get the drums from her. Ug...I don't even know what I'm doing with them, yet I'm supposed to play them, I guess. We want Ashley at guitar, I guess, because it means no teaching Ed, but I dunno how he'll take to drums. And I'm not gonna give up four years of bass just for him. I guess he's playing drums or we're getting a drummer and becoming a five-piece.
Ug...too much deep thinking for this tired guy. I'll be napping before work if anyone needs me. Feel free to call.
