Well, I used to be friends with this guy, Cody. We befriended each other on the ninth grade trip to Gettysburg. We shared quite a few good memories. In Honesdale this weekend, he shot his girlfriend's father in the chest and killed him. He's 18. He's getting life in prison because it's the law. He was a nice guy, he really, really was. Even though he had a somewhat violent side, he was nice. And his whole entire future is now completely gone because of the law. I'm not saying that murdering somebody is correct, I believe that it's really wrong to do. But getting life in prison for ending only one persons' life, is unbelieveable. I mean, say you killed five people, you'd get five sentences of life in prison, which ultimately is: life in prison. Therefore, it really doesn't matter in law about how many people you go kill, you still get just life in prison. ...Well, except in places that are for the Death Penalty. [Which is a very horrid thing...] They say it was a family plot. Cody, his girlfriend, and her mum planned it. I hope not. Anyway, that is sad. It's really fucking horrible actually. I think I've almost shed some tears over it, and Cody and I haven't really been friends this school year. ...ummm...Yeah....
