The world has suffered a tragic loss as of today. Captain Kangaroo is dead. Yes, it is all very sad... i dont know how it happened...i guess of old age, but he is no more. This causes a deep blow to the entire world. I am deeply saddened by this news, and i dont think that children's t.v. will ever be the same. No, but seriously...it really upsets me when children's television show stars die... like last year, when mr. rogers died. When something like this happens, a little part of my inner child dies with them. I grew up with these t.v. icons! (well, not literally, or else i would really have something to brag about..) These are the people that taught me how to count, and spell, and tie my shoes, and have random unnecessary wardrobe changes just to sit in your own house... In fact, i am wearing a cookie monster shirt right now... i'd like to think of it as a small tribute to the geniuses of our childhood...and many before our times! So here's to those infamous television stars who molded us into the people that we are today!! LIVE ON CAPTAIN KANGAROO!!! AND GOD SPEED!
