Wednesday, 6:26 p.m.   What will I do? Where will I go? At work last friday, I was going off on some tangent about how everyone here is a lemming, following in their parents footsteps, even if they do lead off a cliff. I was talking about religion, and my daddy knew. He told me that wasn't true. He raised me to be atheist but here I am, taking confirmation classes so I can be baptized at First Presbyterian. And I told him that he also raised me to be able to make my own choices, and to be openminded. Unlike so many others. I asked him if Mommy used to be religious. And he said that he thought sometimes that she was disappointed in him. He didn't explain this. At first I thought he meant that she was religious and she was sad that daddy never pursued it, but I don't know... On the other hand, today was so fantastic. We had an assembly and Dan took Nicole, Daniel A., Ber, and I to his house and we looked at swim pictures and ate sandwhiches his mom made and looked at the word he wrote on the ceiling (he seriously wrote 'gullible' on his ceiling). It was very fun and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm really glad that we get along so well. Woohoo! And Katherine and I went and got Aggie Icecream and it was good stuff. yay! I love hanging out with Katherine. She's so awesome. I barely remember sometimes that she's two grades below me. And I think it's awesome not limiting your friends to your class and clicque. yay for us!

now you gotta look at the whole thing with my parents. my mom is religious, and my dad encourages me to go to church and be religious, even if he doesnt. so i dont really follow my parents. they want me to believe in god, i dont. they want me to have a family, i doubt i will. they expect me to be good, and im not. so i guess im not a lemming, as far as i know. i dont even have the same morals as my parents... so yeah... have a nice day.
