Tis the New Year

Ah, Tis for some a Christmas gone But now we find the New Year near, People will fondly crowd together, so to bring great memorable cheer. We all reflect on burdens and fun we all once had, Chin up for those who were weighed down more, the year is now over – let’s all be glad. Should we think of the New Year as a kind and timely fresh start? Perhaps so but ‘fresh’ is the word which will play the most part! For many, we'll take a step further to our destined place, And we’ll all do good to remember each day with all of what received grace. There’s a present I tell ya, it’ll last the whole year through, What’s new about the New Year is every new day given to you! Resolutions may wear thin, but there’s one we should all try to keep, Every day’s a new day and that’s the present of life we reap. Wishing you all a safe and wonderful Happy New Year!
