I have but tasted the tiniest fringes of love.
Of course, that is, what I assume is love. The few molecules, if love could be a solid existence, graced my tongue for a fleeting second then passed. Muscle memory keeps me tingling for the rush of blood to the heart sent by each flicker of the tongue. It is common knowledge a scent can incite a memory, but can a taste bring back an existence? Not a normal existence, but the kind that barely counts as one. When in a span of time that may not even be measurable an entire life and love is played out in your eyes and bounces off the soul through a negative of all the positives. At the same time, though, your heart flutters and every moment before now seems like a piece of the puzzle, that last line to get you a Tetris. Every nerve tingles and the greatest pain you will ever feel now exists only as a numbing pleasure which spans all that you think, hear, see and live. All of this is an instant when eyes lock and two souls finally find the key to their own padlock, unlocking mysteries underneath. These that hides a dark core. No chocolate here, but the pain is just as sweet as any cocoa plant around. This core plants its roots, but without them there would be no foundation for the empire that rises. Unlike Rome it is built in a day which spans a whole cycle of the universe, making even the gods yawn at its indefinite red light.
*sigh*
Yeah, that’s love.

Do you ever put your arms out and spin and spin and spin really really fast? Well thats what love is like. It makes your heart race, turns the world upside down, but if your not careful, if you don't keep your eyes on something still, you can lose your balance, you can't see what's happening to the people around you...and you can't see that your about to fall
