woohoo, the retreat was so much fun. Almeta and I caught tadpoles from the lake. But we left them there...well actually Carter threw them away. But it was cool being chaperones! we got to choose what we wanted to do and what we didn't want to do. when we were in middle school we had to participate in everything. but they were trying to teach the guys to be gentlemen and they were so cute! they did a trust walk where the girls were blindfolded and the guys had to guide them around everywhere and through stuff. and at breakfast, they went up with the girls and the girls just said what they wanted to eat and the guys got it for them, took it to the table, and waited until all the girls were served until they went to get something. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT WHEN GUYS DO THAT!! respect, protect, and...well i was thinking of another word that rhymed but it didn't come. but yeah...perfect guy. but they had a concert by Odd Man Out and they started doing crowd surfing!!!! little 6th-8th graders! it was soooo funny!!!!! all of a sudden during the middle of the concert, little danny rodriguiz is seen crowd surfing. and you'd figure that being a private Christian school that the teachers would stop them...but no! they almost encouraged it and were all laughing!! it was awesome!! well i have to go to work in about 15 minutes so i better be gettin ready. but yeah!!!
