Listening to: reggie on the phone
Feeling: anxious
man, I've been taking naps like there's nothing else to do...oh wait, there is nothing else to do!
on tuesday, Asheigh picked me up from school, along with Almeta, and we went to eat and then to Lincoln Elementary b/c her mom was subbing there in a special education class. the kids were soooo cute! This one kid, Ian, took to Ashleigh, and this other girl, Brisa, took well to me. She had a poke mark on her hand and showed it to me and said that her dad poked her with a pen. I felt so sorry for all the kids, but they were all so sweet/cute!!! I want to go back. but haha, this lady hated almeta....it was sooo funny!
man, the snow is insane! and since Shylers and AGF weren't open, mama, dad, and I were all stuck at home with nothing to do. We all woke up at like 8 and were sitting around watching Golden Girls and mom was making fun of Rose saying, "She is just so stupid!" and laughing like it was the funniest thing ever and dad goes, "so, how many days til you go back to work, Glenda?" and she goes, "12 DAYS!!!! YOU GET TO BE WITH ME FOR 12 WHOLE DAYS! AND WE'RE SNOWED IN...EVEN BETTER!"
needless to say, we all wanted to get out of the house, so we made a path down our driveway and went driving. we got stuck in the walgreens parking lot..haha. it was quite amusing at the time. but there were so many cars abandoned on the side of the road.
but man, tensions are apparently high in our household, and it sucks. I was amazed with myself whenever we were in the car b/c my dad was giving my mom advice on how to drive in the snow and she goes, "I know, Jay" and he went off about how if she doesn't want any help, that she isn't going to get it and my mom said, "12 days" and dad said, "well, 12 days can come from my direction too" and I just shouted, "OKAY!!!!!!!" and they both shut up...it was funny. I was trying not to laugh.
I want to play in the snow, but dad is like, "you play in the snow in the daytime" but I am trying to convince him that in the nighttime, we can sneak up on eachother more easily...he's not buying it.
well, I think i'm gonna go play in the snow regardless of who goes with me.
