hmm...I worked yesterday from 11-8....looong day! but we were really slow and abby was working so it was all good. we made up the name "Labby" or "Abren" for ppl to call us because they are always like "Abby...no, Lauren...no, which one are you?" so yeah...and ppl are actually calling us that. Trish was like "well, Labby sounds like labrinth, and you guys are really confusing and hard to figure out so labrinth fits....and abren...sounds like asprin...enough said." lol...it was funny. but it was soo dramatic today! Renee started crying because one of her tables was being mean! and I saw my 1-3 grade spanish/child care teacher who complained about her salad shell (which I made) being soggy and I saw mike all (this guy we used to go to church with who was in my parents small group) and other ppl but I can't remember who. OH, and Brad Byrd came to shylers...ya know, off the news...but he paid with a credit card but didn't leave the signed slip which means he didn't leave a tip and so Jennifer (his server) had to get Shawn and he printed off stuff for her and he was like "Bradley Dean Byrd....hey Pack!" me: "yeah" Shawn: "remember that....bradley DEAN byrd...just in case you can call into a radio station and win like a thousand dollars for guessin his middle name"...shawn is a dork....speaking of shawn, today he was like "hey, greg, do I look sexier with my glasses on or off"...weird man. but today I worked with 2 other bussers...Steve and Jeane..both 45-50 years old....yeah. it was, uh, exciting to say the least...and they both hate eachother...which was actually pretty funny!! but they were borrring. but Alicia (hostess) was really cool....and so was Renee (new fav server)....I also got to leave at 3:30 because Whitney got off then and talked to Sherrie for me who said if I had all my sidework done that I could leave...so I did. But Emilie, one of the servers/expediters, rode home with whitney today....she seems cool but I dunno if she likes me...sometimes she seems like she does, but other times, not so much. but after being on smoking side for five hours, I really didn't need Emilie smoking in the car...but what was I going to do about it? mama is going to have to stay in the hospital longer than expected....they are running tests on her pancreas and gallbladder (sp?) and said she might have kidney stones again...but she doesn't think so. but I just got back from McDonalds with kathy....the woman that rang us up at the cash register looks like Natalie Portman sooo much! it's craaazy!!
