So after school, Jenny took James and I over to the car place to pick up James' jeep. We did that and then we went to the DMV so that James could renew his motorcycle license. So we are walking in and I hear, "Lauren Pack, is that you?" and it's Rachel...yup. She was having to take her written exam to get her license. Then we walk inside and I hear a low mans voice say my name and it's Rachels dad sitting with her mom. Her mom is so cute! But it is a long line, as usual, and we get the the counter, get a number, and sit. James sat in the second row and Rachel was right behind him in the third row. The only relatively close chair that was open was between Rachel and this guy. so I sit down...awkwardly close to this guy. I started reading Rachels permit and was saying, "Under 18 until.." and the guy turns to me and says, "nuh-uh...you just said my name!" with this huge grin on his face. i was befuddled. I said, "umm no?" and he said, "yeah, I thought you said my name, Andre." "oh no, i said until 18 until" and he was like, "oh, good cause i was like 'what, you don't even know my name!'". he had a comb in his afro...hehe. i love those. so funny. and later on, Rachel asked for a back rub and Andre goes, "mmmmm me too!" haha...fun stuff. James left to take his motorcycle test and in walked Jenny's parents. so ironic. but in the end, James missed one question so he has to retake it tomorrow. when leaving school, i was walking behind jenny and james while they were holding hands and samantha yells out to me, "LAUREN! YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE THEIR KID!" oh, funny thought. but scary at the same time. during chem, half the class was taking the test and the other half was outside in the hallway. i was sitting with Mariellen, Whitney, Courtney, and Ali. courtney seems really cool. I guess i stereotyped her before, but that's gone. Mariellen: "uh, i hate her so much! she talks about everyone, even her friends behind their back!....well, i mean i'm doing the same thing now." OH MY GOSH, I WAS CRAAACKING UP! i called her a hypocrite but she tried to defend her case...wasn't working. all my classes were boring today. first period went to the computer lab while the kiddies worked on geometers sketch pad. second period, we went to the computer lab to research the carribean blacks and the LUBAVITCHERS! after lunch, i sat in the hall while the kids took their chem test. and last period, well it's spanish so we dind't really do anything. we have these two new girls in our spanish class...surprisingly enough, they're sisters. didn't see that one coming. they seem nice...i guess. i just need to get to know them better. but natasha seems really cool! well i'm just waiting for shannon to get here to help me babysit.
