where to start. gee, i dont know. three things. hurricane katrina, the clean-up effort, and finally soldiers in iraq. just the other day a friend of mine who is a soldier called me. we had a nice little discussion. this friend of mine happens to be black, now normally that wouldnt be an issue, but in this case its very important. his words to me were exactly as follows; "this whole rebuilding thing is bullcrap, everyone is trying to help, and the n*ggers down there are turning it into a racial issue, why do people talk about equality when they are separating themselves. i mean for example, dwayne, you dont say you are german american, you dont say your caucasian, you're american. i dont say i'm african american, i'm american, and that is it. then kanya west gets on tv after rapping about equality and makes this big deal saying it's racist." it went on after that, but i'll use my opinions and thoughts from now on. yeah, you're right, the fucking hurricane was racist. did you see those white clouds, it's all about colour, yeah okay. the people had warning, a week, and you'll say back to me, they were poor. then they got nothing to leave behind, walk, hitch-hike. whatever, it's partially their fault. you dont have to drive, there are other ways. if it was that important to leave then do it, dont make excuses. then my friend said about maybe god was punishing that part of the world. i wont even touch on that. second. clean up effort and donating money. donating money is so stupid, i know you want to help, but what would help more, for them and for us is donating time, or buying goods that that area produces. if the demand continues for goods from that area, or goods that are easily produced in that area, companies will have the capital and incentive to open, or re-open factories, plants, stores, etc... in that area, which creates jobs, which in turn gets the people back on there feet. obviously that cant happen overnight, but donating money forever wont help a damn thing, for now yes though. as the bible says so wisely. give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a life time. and if you think that there is no point to buying goods from there, the sooner they are back on there feet the sooner fuel prices will go down, which will help bring down the prices of everything you could hope to buy from the store. help someone else to help yourself. finally soldiers in iraq. god, i wanna kick all of these peoples asses greenday and all these fucking bands and people how are like "we dont support the war, soldiers are dieing, blah blah, i'm a pussy" i'm not in the military, and generally i dont like the military, but none of these soldiers were forced to go into the military. they went by choice, and by not supporting them, you arent helping them, you're spitting in there face. greenday makes a fucking video, thinking it's gonna be all powerful, pretending like they care about people who are dead and dieing. or you could be like me and see through it all and see that the fucking bastards dont care, they want to try and sell records and concert tickets, they dont have family fighting, there friends arent dieing, they are using peoples plite to make money. fuck them. all these hippie pieces of shit need to quit worrying about what soldiers do and worry about shutting the fuck up cuz i see em out protesting and i'm gonna smack some fucking sense into them. you might as well say, i dont want a plummer, we can just shit in a bucket. this is what these people choose for a job, it's what they want to do what i dont come over to your fuckin hippie glass blowing class and step on your half ass bong, mother fuckers, leave them alone. god, i'm so pissed. people piss me off.
