New York: part four

Dear Diary, These past two days have been so crazy! And so totally fun. We went a lot of places on that last day: 5th Avenue, Canal Street, F.A.O. Shwartz, Tiffanys, The New York Temple, the Statten Island Ferry and the Statue of Liberty. All very, very fun stuff. We also were able to get into another Broadway show! All we had to do was stand in line for twenty minutes at TKTS to get half-off tickets. We saw Beauty and the Beast! It was... good. I mean, very cool because it was on Broadway. But think of the disney movie. Now think of it with live people. There's the play. lol. Although the special effects were extremely well-done. Let's see... that's basically it. I just love NYC. Taxis, subways, huge buildings, lots of lights, and millions of people. It is so... I can't even think of a word to describe it! But if anyone ever gets a chance to go, GO! I highly recommend it. Okay! So today was our travel day. We packed, cleaned, and took a $100 cab ride to aiport. (One bad thing about the east coast: WAY EXPENSIVE.) We dropped my brother off who had a different flight, then we waiting four and a half hours for our flight. Fun. But it wasn't too bad, because I fell asleep stretched out across two rows of airport chairs (like in the Terminal! I'm just like Tom Hanks!). Then we flew to Cicinnatti, had exactly twenty minutes to make our next flight, and flew to Salt Lake. That was a fun flight. The sun was setting the entire time because we were flying West, towards it. So with the clouds and everything, it was beautiful. Oh! And we flew over Cache Vally on our way in! Exciting. Now we're finally home. Ahhh it's good to be home. I loved traveling and I love New York, but home is a nice place to be. Love, Lisa Ann
