Aftermath....

Listening to: In Memory-Shinedown
Feeling: exhausted
The weekend was a strange and long one. I had plans to finish my bedroom but that didn't work out. We ended up spending a good 5 hours in town. The family had pictures taken at Sears and then Mom took Beth and me grocery shopping. The family dinners were good. We had fun and joked around. I'm 3-0 right now with the family euchre games. Grandma and I kicked butt last night after dinner. The pool is going to be torn down no later than this weekend. We have a lot of jobs coming up and things are getting tight. I have another five days before I mingle with the elite crowd of Logansport. I swore I would never mingle with these people, nice or not and I am. It's a formal fund raiser, so I'll be wearing my black dress. Could've gone with my red silk one, but I feel more comfortable in the black one. Maryanne and I watched Hannibal tonight. We're gonna try and watch Red Dragon soon. Plus she has the dvd Eragon and said we could watch it once I finished the book, which I just happened to finish. Tomorrow will be long. I have one class but lots of reading to get down for classes and I want to work out or do some heavy DDR. Things were strained at home, but we're all still alive. Nothing deadly happened. -Kat- Some of the ugliest things took the longest time to make And some of the easiest habits are the hardest one's to break And I'm not asking for value nor the pain but I am asking For a way out of this lie [Chorus] Because I can't wait for you to catch up with me And I can't live in the past and drown myself in memories Welcome to nowhere and finding out where it is And fixing your problems and starting over agin Your feeding your ego with what you can see outside And your killing yourself for not speaking your mind [Chorus] In memory [Bridge] I wonder why you make believe you live your life straight through me I cannot understand why you question me and then you lie I will not justify your way's I cannot show you an escape I do not know you any more, I never knew you anyway [Chorus] In memory
