A Night At the Fair

Feeling: torn
The family went to the 4-H fair tonight. We had fun checking out the merchant buildings. I ran into Jess and we walked the Midway and livestock areas. We caught the ending of a horse competition heat. It was interesting, I can say that much for sure. I bumped into Teala and we caught up on some missed out times. Family had the annual elephant ear and milkshake. Going to the fair was fun, but I wish it was later in the week when I could enjoy some of the rides. I have Wed and Thru, so that means I might be able to go on bracelet night. The question becomes, if I go, who would I go with? It's not like I have Kay to run away with. Work was slow today. I did stocking and kept myself busy except for the last 2 hours of the shift. By then, there wasn't really anything left to do. I visited with John a little in the morning when he came in briefly. Laughed at the boy running the basketball booth across the boardwalk. He was trying things to keep busy and stop being bored; he succeeded in my opinion. Going to the Y in the morning. Get to swim 250 yards and then come home for breakfast. Hopefully I get to go. Last week I got up to go and couldn't. Something was killing my stomach and any pressure made me want to throw up. Makes no sense, but it passed. Now I'm waiting to see if my voice is going out or not. I hope not. That would just allow more teasing at work from the guys. I get enough and don't need anymore, but they're guys. What else can I say? -Kat-
