Just to let you know this is a brag entry, but if you feel I need a shunning please yell at my concietedness (spelling?). I am pleased as shit. Shit has never been this pleased before. I spent a wonderful afternoon with my aunt, uncle and baby cousin to be followed instaneously by my first game of indoor soccer in the 2004 year. I must admit, I was rather nervous meeting the new coach and such, but it felt quite refreshing to get out into the gym. The second I stepped onto that recently waxed floor I knew tonight was going to be a great night. Well the start of the game didnt go well, by chance I was in the position I've mastered over the years, defender, but lets just say the nerves got to me....I had a couple high-kicks and the ref told me to back off, so I did and missed many a ball. I was soon called out, to go back in position and shock the hell out of both of my coaches. I do believe, they did not expect the excellency of the game I was deteremined to play. The taller of the coaches, moved me up to center, because he said I had a good foot, but I wasnt too happy about that. I get tired and red-faced very easily, and centers run often from what the coach expected. I took a pretty nice shot on goal from the mid-court line, no one was in my way, and the set-up was perfect, it just seems the goal-kepper choose that moment to walk to the side of the goal I was kicking at. Ah well....I really do sound self-centered today. Anyway, the coaches said some nice things about me in the end, that I was very aggressive and such and now I sit here with a blizzard enjoying the remaining couple hours of my day. Hope everyones else had a good day.... Oh an thanks SO much to everyone whos made me feel better the past couple days, I was very un-kayla then, thanks you guys!
