hey guys... haven't been on here in awhile... *sigh* it's been a long week. a VERY long week. and very trying. and exhausting. yet strangely enjoyable. yeah. sunday night ashly surprisingly convinced me to join colorguard again, so there i was, monday morning... at school... lol. i'm not quite as excited about this year as i was about last year... but that's mainly because this year doesn't look as promising. last year was just an awesome year and we all had everything pulled together. this year everyone's got a good attitude in general, it's just not gonna be the super-stunning show we had last year. the guard is definitely less than satisfactory this year. to put it in context for you... the other four girls have known the routine for almost two months. i learned it tuesday and i'm better at it than at least half of them. we've got two new girls... one's a really hard worker and a bit of an over-achiever, and she has a great attitude, but she just can't quite grasp it. the other one thinks she can smart-mouth me and makes excuses for why she messes up and blames things on people, and she talks so much that meagan's threatened for us to have silent practices. and to top it all off, we're not doing rifle this year. which utterly sucks, because rifle is my element. but on the brighter side of things, i have a big dance solo at the beginning of the show!!! another thing that's fun is that the battery put down their drums in part two and dance with the guard, which is gonna be fun and undoubtedly quite interesting. *laughs* i'm supposed to dance with evan... and he admitted to me that he's never actually danced before in his life... so that should definitely be enough to make it interesting... haha well, for someone that didn't really want to be in guard this year, i've talked enough about it to bore everyone to death i'm sure... but i could keep talking... especially if i got into "one time at band camp..." stories, but i'll spare you all on that. so, on a different note... i'm leaving tomorrow for cedar point!!!! YAY!!!!! ...and it's past ten and i need to go pack. crap. just realized what time it is lol. later daze! Sabe
