I MADE OFFICER!!!!!! ~lieutenant~ (flags/twirler) I never dreamed that my day would end so well.. considering how it started. I might have gotten electrocuted or something.. Daisy, my lab, chewed the wires on my radio that I left outside when I was practicing. This morning I wanted to get one last practice in before school.. I touched the cord because I could tell it was starting to come out of the outlet but I was too focused on the routine to wonder why. Before I knew it I was flat on my back about 2 feet away. I burned my hand and I have an exit wound.. and my fair share of bruises from hitting things on the way down. There are a lot more details to that but I'll spare you. I LOVE MY FRIENDS!! I dare say.. I saw a hint of optimism in myself today. I just felt really.. loved? for once. I had a support group sitting with me before I tried out and I have been completely spoiled since the results were anounced. They took me out to dinner twice and we played volleyball and wrestled in the sand for hours. I have sand in places that I really don't want there to be.. heh. It was worth it.
