My sister is on a flight to Colorado right now, which means I can put up away messages when I go to bed. Wooohooo! But I still miss her, in any case.
Yesterday, I went to see my grandmother in Orangeburg. She's in average condition for someone her age. She has her share of problems, though. She's a patient at the SC Heart Center, where Joy works in the Business Insurance and Billing office. It makes me comfortable knowing that someone I trust is there when my grandmother goes in.
We ate at Antley's BBQ, which is always good to me. Then, we went to Winn-Dixie, wrapped a present back at the assisted living place, and then left.
Michael came over. It was horrid. He's a nice kid, but I can't stand him because he tries to be just like everyone else. He's a people pleaser. If I weird someone out, I weird them out, and they can choose to stick around or not. Michael changes his views and opinions to fit the people or the situation, so he'll always remain liked. Not everyone is going to like you, and he just refuses to see that. Michael also repeats people's secrets constantly. He doesn't understand the concept of keeping his mouth shut and not saying anything. He says he does, but actions speak louder than words.
I no longer trust Andrew, because of things he and Michael have discussed. I learned to trust Andrew for a while, and we were friends, but will I ever trust him again? No. I don't tell Michael things Andrew and I have discussed. But I don't plan to confront Andrew on the issue, because it's not worth the time and energy involved.
Today, I am going to the flea market to see Nikki and DEIRDRE, whom I have never met before but am totally excited to see. We talk online, and she's a wonderful person. Nikki wants two hours of Nikki/Deirdre time before everyone else shows up. Now, I don't remember when the haircut place opens, but I'm going to leave my house at 8:30-8:45, in any case, I think. So I'll get my haircut, and then march over there. Luke and Kati are coming, but Luke is Nikki's, and I don't particularly care too much about seeing Kati. She's nice, but not one of my favorite people.
Okay, I was going to do something. Let's see if I can remember what.
