So, my Mondays and Wednesdays are nice and full. Oh, well. Both choirs, English, and Spanish.
Tuesdays and Thursdays I only have those two classes back-to-back, which is so nice. Plus, I get to have Psychology with Carolynne! And I think I have it with Daniel (the school year roommate, @whee) too! Yay! Notice how Government is taught by STAFF. Good old STAFF. Best teacher ever. Teaches EVERYTHING. All subjects.
And then the only class I have on Friday is Spanish, which means I can eat lunch and then go home on the weekends I go home. Dr. Coffey told me to look into Spanish tutoring as a job. So I might.
So it's been fun here at EXPO. I am currently not attending a Career Services Program because I just didn't want to go. Plus, I gloriously overslept and it was WONDERFUL.
Last night I talked to Daniel on the phone. He called me to find out what our room number is. We had an awesome conversation and we told each other a lot of things the other didn't know. I think that we have the potential to have a really good friendship come out of all this roommate stuff. His phone died midsentence so I have to call him back tonight so find out if he remembers our room number.
Speaking of roommates, my EXPO roommate, Matt, went to find a party last night, and I guess he found one, because he did NOT come back to the room last night. I can't wait to ask him where he went. Heh. I don't think he likes me, but he's...just not too nice himself. Has absolutely no sense of humor.
So I auditioned for Old Main Singers. I thought I was already in, but apparently I wasn't. So I auditioned, and after the first vocalizing "ahhhhhhh" came out, Dr. Criswell was like, "I love it!" And I have already learned something from him. I tend to swallow in my lower register, and I never noticed that until he told me. Oh, well. I'm a tenor, I don't need a lower register, best I can tell.
I can't wait to live here in less than three weeks.
I can't wait until college ;)
