Listening to: Sarah McLachlan - The Rainbow Connection
Today was....good.
In Geology, Ms. Holmes amused us with stories about her very smart daughter, who asks very informed questions about sex and dating at 9 years old.
Chamber Choir...we mixed up and I stood next to Emily on one side and Aimée on the other (I wanted altos in my ear, I got it--yay!), and it was the most satisfied I have ever been with our sound.
Government was just presentations. I tried to read slower. I think it was okay.
Lunch was chicken nuggets, and they were good. Georgia and Cali are great lunch partners.
In Concert Choir we mostly worked on Wade In The Water, and I think I found a solo I can sing. But I don't know if I want to have one.
English was Shakespeare. I'm getting tired of the guys who sit behind me.
I've had two days in a row of good work days. Today, the kids in 5th grade wanted to watch Daddy Daycare, so I put that on and the 4th graders watched too, and were complete angels. Plus I got to talk to Chelsea and Kendra, and they are fun kids. Ms. Maryellen brought cupcakes from her son's birthday. I had 2, Jackie had 3, whee.
And voice.
Tomorrow--church and then hanging out with Lauren, whee! And Thursday is the FAIR! Finally!
