Yesterday was a pretty good day. Went to Spanish, where we had a party to celebrating the ending of the childhood phase of our life stages theme in there. Went to Chemistry, where a lab was done, and then left to go to lunch because we had to eat and leave for state festival. Ate a hotdog, then Georgia walked with me to my mom's portable to pick up my tux, and then we headed over to the chorus room, sat a minute, and then got on the bus. The bus ride over was pretty annoying (on account of Michael, Zack, and, surprisingly, Carl) yet fun (on account of Georgia). Once we got to the church, we had to change into chorus uniforms and then go sit in a room until it was our turn to use the warm up room. We warmed up, went out, performed, and sightread. Concert Choir people went to change back, while the Chamber Choir people got sequestered in another room. Aimée, Sarah, Hannah, and Ty dropped their folders while we were in there, and it could've either been klutziness or nerves. However, when Ty dropped his right behind Meredith, who was next to me, she sighed and rolled her eyes. Shut up, Meredith. So anyway, Chamber sang, and then on the way down the carpeted steps, I stepped on the back of Meredith's dress, she overdramatized the scream, and when I apologized, she said, "fine, just don't do it again," with as much piss and vinegar as she could muster. Again, shut up, Meredith. I like most of those seniors, but yesterday, I decided that Meredith isn't one of them. We went to the sightreading room and sightread the hardest thing, like, ever. Everyone said so. Then, at the awards ceremony, Chamber got 4th. Woo. I wish we could've gotten a trophy, though. Came home, hung around for a little bit. Michael (who had to stay here) called Kim because he wanted to settle things, and then Kim called back and asked me if I wanted to go to Barnes and Noble now, so we did. Came home, Joy came in to talk to my mom, Michael and I ate chili, we played Sims, he left, I went to bed. Nice day.
