Listening to: Evanescence - My Immortal
Feeling: content
Today was a very good day.
In Geology, Megan, Angela, and I did the most...smooth lab we've done all semester. Angela cleaned the acid off the rocks, Megan recorded masses, and I poured acid back into the jars. All done in almost complete silence, with no complications. Afterward, I talked to Lynsey, Whitney, and Brooke about randomness.
Chamber Choir was fun. We stood in concert formation and sang our music. I think standing next to Emily makes me sound better. I don't know. Plus the whole being totally independent of anyone else singing your part helps too. Laura and Sarah played their song again during the break and it was awesomeness.
In Government we talked about state and local government.
Lunch was fun. Georgia and I sang opera to each other. Cali was nowhere to be found. Oh, yeah. I forgot that she went to Spartanburg with other blind people. Yeah, Cali's blind. Or legally blind. I think it's neat.
In Concert Choir, we had a really good rehearsal. During "Mary Sat A Rockin'," Valeri always watches Michael strangely when the guys are singing alone at the beginning. I'm trying to figure that out.
English...haha. I'm really getting kind of tired of those stupid boys I sit with. But they're still kind of fun.
Work was eh. Jackie's quitting, so I'm kind of sad about that. Plus there's an odd situation going on that I'll explain later.
Then I went to the LHS Talent Show! It was wonderful! Emily, Ty, and Kalin were in it. Emily danced and sang to "Fame," Ty did this Alice In Chains song, and Kalin did "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend." They were all wonderful. Ty is just so...dang...talented. I don't think I had any idea. I mean, outside chorus, I've never really heard him genuinely sing anything, so I was very impressed. Ha...Gray. I didn't know he was in it, but I loved his performance. During Hero, sung by this girl named Renee, Paddy got teary. It was strange and somewhat touching because he actually wasn't kidding. But anyway, it was good.
Tomorrow is Kim's birthday. We are going out to eat, and then I am doing some Christmas shopping at Barnes & Noble.
X-Treme Winter got cancelled. I am mad about this.
Saturday is busy. SAT, dress rehearsal, Kenwood. Oi.
Maybe someday I'll stop.
