So we got interims yesterday. I will go through today's play-by-play and then tell you my interim grades.
In US History, nothing really happened except that Coach Moyer took care of the Kevin/Alex situation, hopefully for good. I like Coach Moyer a lot. Any teacher who will defend a student who is being upset by another one is a good teacher.
Interim: 87 B. Not complaining. My daily grade was a 77, my quiz was an 83, my test grade was 100.
Chamber Choir...nothing really happened there. I don't like Sing O Heavens. It's hard as anything I've ever seen. I think the ending will be good though. But we did sing Madrigal Madness, I Delight In All Your Beauty, and Agnus Dei, which are my three favorites. One thing we do in there that I love--Ian and I go over and hang out with the altos, and we randomly sing the parts on our songs and it sounds awesome. Sometimes we randomly go out after the bell rings and do it in the hall. Ian and the altos are great fun.
No chorus interims.
In Psychology, Kimberly, Kelly, John, Mark, and I played a stupid game which we totally screwed up and forfeited, so Ms. Capers didn't give us any extra credit. Boo.
Interim: 94 A. WOOHOO!
Lunch. Nada.
Concert Choir...was very...rowdy. We sang in dectets (groups of 10) on Honor and Glory. The other tenor in mine was Carlos...and he...followed me. Not to sound stuck up or anything, but I heard him and sometimes he didn't know the words and depended on me sort of. Oh, well. I like singing next to Ian, but alas, he sits in a middle row and I sit up front.
English was so boring. We did a mini-unit on comma usage. It was so easy. I half-took the notes and did the worksheets in less than ten minues, and I was the first one done. And then I got all of them right. Boring! Can't we do grammar I suck at, like sentence complements or something, please? BORING!
Interim: 87 B. I thought it was lower. It wasn't. Thank goodness.
So that's that. And tonight, we made a Barnes and Noble run.
That's the news for now.
