Listening to: Jekyll & Hyde - Facade
So, yesterday and today were good days.
In Geology, Angela, Megan, and I talked and worked on our models. They make excellent lab partners.
In Chamber Choir...well, Emily already said the only thing I remember, which is Ian playing And So It Goes on the piano while we sang along. Ian's talent amazes me because he learned it by ear and I can barely play it with the music.
I am really, really getting into Government. I think it's because Ms. Capers makes it SO interesting. I mean, I started taking notes on Chapter 10 and didn't look up until time for seniors to leave for lunch.
Lunch was pretty uneventful. Georgia and I were very catty about Korbelak in an effort to stop Savannah from associating with him in excess. It's kind of mean...but he's scary.
In Concert Choir, I continued to disenjoy the seating arrangement because I am on the back row. Jason informed me that spaghetti sauce is good for acne, and I told him about the toothpaste method. He's a very interesting person. I don't know why Nikki and Georgia dislike him so much or why he made fun of them or whatever.
In English, we presented our "Lexington Pilgrims," and I got partnered for an assignment with Rozlyn, @whee.
And then work, which was good. Ms. Alison told me I was working from 9-2, which worked for me. It put me at 15 hours for this week, which makes up for the day I missed last week, and gives me correct pay for next week.
Kim, Joy, and I went to Barnes and Noble last night, too. That was nice.
Today was work from 9-1:30, because Ms. Alison let me go half an hour early. I realized that Ms. Alison is a lot like a mom. She gets kind of irritated when she has to stay on your back about things, but at the end, she loves you. She high-fived me and thanked me for a good day when I left.
I worked with Ms. Pam on the movies/drama/movement side. Almost everyone there was from our center. Nikki* came as I left. And then I had lunch at Taco Bell, came home, took a great nap, and then went back to Barnes and Noble with Kim, where I bought the Jekyll & Hyde CD. Whee.
Good times.
*- When both Nikkis I know are mentioned in the same entry, NikkiN is my best friend, and NikkiG is my co-worker.
