"I dig my toes into the sand...the ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket...I lean against the wind...pretend that I am weightless...and in this moment...I am happy..."
I suppose that describes how I'm feeling right now. I don't know why. I'm just in a really good mood.
In US History, I got a subpoena (that's what I call it) to appear in the guidance office at 8:30am. I had to talk to Mrs. Brunson about the keyboarding proficiency test, which I hope to take October 7. It's fair day, but I'm going on another night, so it's cool. And that's really all.
Chamber Choir was great. Emily gave me a card thanking me for being there for her recently. I really appreciated that. I didn't know I had been any kind of help, so it's nice to know my presence was appreciated. We sightread very wonderfully, and then we worked on Madrigal Madness (we feel no cares, so take our pleasure, now to the bagpipe sound, a-dancing on the ground) and Ca' The Yowes. During the break, I talked to Ian, Aimee, and Emily about random things, including food and hair.
Took a psychology test. Open book. Anticlimactic.
Went to lunch. I'm still shocked by how well Robbie and Kim are getting along these days. Oh, well. It's a nice change.
Concert Choir...was...interesting. Well, for me. See, my eye started HURTING. I was like, "Excuse me?" So I rubbed it, and sat there enduring the endless pain. So after class, I booked it to the nurse, and discovered my RIPPED right contact. So guess what I did? I called my dad and he brought me another one.
Well, that carries over into English, actually, because that's when he came. But yeah, Scarlet Letter discussage and bam.
After school, Nikki and I went to see Ms. Hayes, whose daughter, Mills, has been BAD today. She's 6, and she bit somebody. Silly Mills. Silly Ms. Hayes being the mommy. It was neat to see her playing mom. Made me respect her even more.
So, that's all from here for now. I'm going on the rafting trip tomorrow, and then it's back to the same old routine for awhile.
