Listening to: Jewel - Sweet Home Alabama
Feeling: blissful
Watch it not last long for early October.
Yesterday was a good day.
Nothing really happened in Geology, Chamber Choir, or Government.
Lunch was fun. Georgia read us some more notes from the ex-notebook of Georgia and Kim.
Concert Choir...way too much Wade In The Water. And people sang to Sarah for her birthday, whee Sarah.
The walk from Concert Choir to English was fun yesterday. Emily (who has AP European History and walks with me) said she had been listening to Jekyll & Hyde in her car, and I was like, "the finale makes me sad!" So she was like, "the whole thing makes me sad." And then we sang the finale, complete with truly terrible instrument sound effects, and then laughed very hard. Ahhh, good times. Also, Georgia and I are going to see Emily in The Music Man TONIGHT, for closing night. Eeee.
English was...a test.
Work was crazy. This girl from USC named Carly is doing her education practicum with us (the thing where it's not student teaching, but you have to interact with students). She's really nice and talks like Liz, except she's from Michigan. We didn't really have any meaningful conversations, just small talk. Sleeping Beauty was the movie in the movie area today. I'm seriously going to start renting DVDs because I'm tired of watching the same movies all the time.
What else? Oh yeah...Ms. Karen and Ms. Maryellen were nuts. They were being all witty and sarcastic. Like, I got a bag of Doritos out of the snack cabinet after Ms. Maryellen TOTALLY ate some gummy fish. So she was like, "so can we stay late and cook you a steak too? Maybe a baked potato?" And so I said something like, "Sure! And I'll make you some kind of dessert!" And then Ms. Karen and I were picking on each other while we hauled chairs across the street to the Catholic church for...some reason.
FINALLY, the highlight of the evening...Barnes & Noble! I had to buy one of Joy's Frappucino's, and Kim and I wandered through the music section. We also got in trouble at the table for telling our jokes too loud (dumb people who think it's a library). On the way home, we sang Saved By The Bell by the Bee Gees and Larger Than Life by the Backstreet Boys very badly, and it was a good evening, indeed.
Eeee. Saturday. Robbie's home. I should probably call him after giving him a sufficient amount of sleep.
