I am sorry that you have gone through such experiences to make you feel the same. However I wouldn't doubt that all too many people feel that feeling at some time(s).
The fortune cookie was funny. My friend who I was there with, got that same fortune 3 years ago. We were talking about it, then I suddenly got it, it was funny/cool. And his fortune said something about the past making effect now, which worked out funny. Haha.
