On Wednesday I learned that three of my best friends from my church were in a horrible car accident during the weekend. Colbey, Tony(girl), and Brandon's car was bumped by a semi and the car spun a total of 6 times before rolling 8 times. My friend Brandon was awake the whole time. Tony was awake for the first 3 rolls but was knocked unconcious, Colbey wasnt awake long enough for the first 2 spins. Brandons arm was stuck out the window and he had about 9 marble sized cuts in his arm, down to the bone, most on his knuckles. He fractured his arm in three places. Colbey broke his back in 4 places. The doctors say its a miracle he wasnt paralyzed. If one of the fractures had gone down a bit more, he would have died or been paralyzed from the neck down. He also broke his leg and fractured his neck. Tony had the skin on her right hand ripped completely off, she broke her arm and leg, bruised a lung and had a huge gash on her forehead. She got out of the hospital last Tuesday. The car was completely destroyed. It was on the highway and the car (thank god) was stopped by the metal bars on the side of the road. I wish I had known sooner. I hope that all of them recover soon.
