Pope John Paul II

I was having a pretty good day until I started reading about Pope Benedict XVI and it really hit me that Pope John Paul II is dead. I'm not Catholic or even someone who goes to church but I'm extremely religious and I repected him so much. He was really a pope for the new millenium. Some people I feel like should go on living forever. Isn't this new pope ultra conservative? I read an article that was talking about how he deemed rock and roll as anti-religious. Also how he used to be in the Hitler Youth and the German army.
Well, that's good then. I was thinking it didn't make much sense that he goes into the Hitler Youth and then the German army, and then shortly after becomes a priest. I didn't follow Pope John Paul very well but I know that he was a very rad guy. You have to be rad if you put on Bono's sunglasses.
