Wow. I haven't been online in like ten days. That's a lot for Dixie. Lol. Well, I'm online like every single day, so that's a really long time for me. But anyway. The whole story is really easy to simplify but I'm telling the longer version so that my entry is longer. Lol. Here goes.. My internet went down Monday night. I decided to restart my computer. I restarted it and the cable still wasn't back up. So, I just decided to turn it off and turn it back on Tuesday in thinking that the server was down for maintenance. I was wrong.. Lol. Anyway. It stayed down. Because of the hurricane I had no school on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Unfortunately I have to make up those days but oh well. My dad called Cox Cable on Tuesday and the office was closed. So, we decided to try on Thursday. The office was open and they said that they hadn't received the payment. This made no sense though because my dad mailed in the payment on the 9th and it was due the 14th. So, wtf? Why the hell did they shut off our service? Anyway. So, we were pissed off. "We" really meaning me. Lol. Still no internet by Monday so my dad called Cox while I was at school. My computer said that I needed to renew my IP address. So, he told Cox Cable that and they said we needed to call my network provider. Which is Gateway, so I just called them. It took me like a half an hour to even get a person to talk to because they kept transferring me to the wrong department and then finally when I get a technician this stupid lady had such a huge accent that I can't even understand her! To like everything she would say I'm sitting there like "Wait what?" Jeez. I was pissed. But anyway. The lady made me restore me computer. It wasn't an easy process because to get to the whole "restoring" part, it took us like twenty minutes of Jibberish and then my only response of "Wait what?" Lol. Anyway. Since the internet still didn't come back up she told me to call me cable provider and ask them to change my settings so that she could help me to get my internet back up. I called them and he had no idea why she told him that because he said it really doesn't make much sense. Come to find out, our service was still inactive! He told me that they recieved the payment but that they were still processing it. What the hell! Jeez. But anyway. Today my dad was talking to his girlfriend's sister. She works for Cox Cable and just told him to drop off a check off at the office. He calls me and tells me that the internet should be on in like an hour. I look at the modem and it was up. So. Here I am now. Back for all of you. Lol. That story was fucking huge. But anyway. Wow. I missed Mike so much. I didn't talk to him for like eleven days but then he finally came on two weeks ago from this coming Sunday. Then I talked to him early on Monday but after that, we haven't talked. It's been like ten days. It sucks so freaking much. I hate being without internet. I miss Leo a lot too. He's like. My internet brother. Lol. I ♥ all of youuuuuuu. Elizabeth too.
