WOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!! I just talked to like 4 different people, and finally got my background check completed for my new job! Yeah!! So now all that needs to happen is for the investigator to call in and give the new company the O.K., and then get my drug test results in, and that should happen today or tomarrow at the latest. And they are already tossing around a start date for me! Oh yeah! I'm good *doing akward white guy dance*! I'm soooo good! Just ask my girl. Yeah, I'm good! LOL! I'm so excited! I found out today that there is a 6 month apprentice program, so that means that they don't expect me to know it all right away - what a relief! Subsea deepwater fluid and gas recovery isn't a simple thing, ya know? And making it happen using pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics......lol, yeah, it gets a bit complicated. I am TOTALLY into a 'Gin and Juice' mindframe right now! hehehehe......I'm kinda giddy! wow, I don't get like this very often. I'm excited about moving back to the big town. My new job is all but signed over. I'm in love. I'm apartment hunting - that's fun! Geeze - think I need to buy a lotto ticket, with my luck recently, I'd be a millionaire before the day is out. So gonna go get a haircut today. Also gotta try to get an appointment at the eye doctor, need a set of prescription safety glasses. And I need to go to the dentist....not sure how hip I am on doing that - gotta get checked out to get wisdom teeth pulled....ugh! Gotta pay bills, but that is no biggie - thank God for income tax returns! Wow.....The Lord is so wonderful! Don't ever underestimate the power of prayer. Like Hulk Hogan said when I was a kid - "Take your vitamins and say your prayers!" So I was reminded about a concert in my old stomping grounds this weekend. I went to it last year, and am certain that it is in the top 5 of the best events I've ever gone to. One of my buddies contacted me today about it, and I told him I'm just gonna have to play it by ear. If I go, I'm gonna have to go alone, or with some of my friends from the good old days. This is not necessarily a good thing. I did a bunch of crazy stuff in the past, and I'm fairly certain that my girl would not approve. And she can't go due to prior obligations, so.....DAMN!!!
