Well, lately, things have been pretty good. Work is well, the GDS seems to be happy for the moment, and I think my life is finally coming back together. I showed up for work tuesday to work on an advanced pressure system, and during our safety meeting, the lead hands let the guys present know that we were going to be the core team to do controlls for such-and-such MAJOR oil company. I was elated to hear that. To think, me, the new guy, the know nothing, was thought highly enough to be put on this kind of project, to learn what a lot of guys can't - damn. Yeah, I feel pretty good. My family has been a bit concerned about my mom.....she went in for a check-up, routine stuff, and the doctor thought he found a major problem, so they are starting more tests and stuff. Then the doc came back and said that things jsut didn't look right, there had to have been a mix-up at the lab. So they are going to start over, as after a few tests, everything looked great. Please pray for my mom, and my family. I feel like the lukiest guy in the world, I'm making some great friends, I have an awesome job, and everything seems to be going my way for the moment.....lol, no getting my hopes up though!
