So I know that I haven't written in quite a while. Last week, as I'm sure you all know, my GDS was up here visiting me, and, well, you know, I had to uhhh, well, ummmm, *blush* take care of her! LOL!! Anyhow, this is the rundown from last week, and I'll try to get on here and give ya'll an up date on real life ASAP. Well, I picked her up Sunday, and had dinner with her and her friend. It was really good, I even got my GDS to eat a few crawfish! Sunday night was GOOD, if you know what I mean *WINK,WINK*! Monday, got offa work, and came home, and cooked fajitas for her and I. They were allright, not anything to write home about, but they sufficed. It was so cool to cook for her, I love to cook, and she really seemed to appreciate it, really made me feel good. Tuesday after work, I took her to a mall near my place, then to a bar/grill that is kinda like Hooters, but the girls wear more, and its more laid back, has more food, kinda just a lot more relaxed. I got us a few pounds of crawfish and a pitcher of beer (romantic, huh?) Well, I thought that since she'd eaten mudbugs with me Sunday, she'd kinda warmed up to the idea. For those of you that know my GDS, she DOES NOT eat seafood! LOL! Well, she hadn't warmed up to that idea at all. So I peeled a few for her and set them in the butter cup that I'd gotten for her, and she kinda picked at a couple of them....it was prety cute. It was even cuter seeing her look at the platter of crawfish that I was attacking. Yeah, she was grossed, especially when I was sucking the heads! HEHEHHEHE! Anyhow, after I re-ordered several more pounds, she finally cracked, and asked me to show her how to do it. I was SO proud of her. She is so girly, and that's cool and all, but I want a gal that can hang with me tasting wine, drinking beer, driving trucks, or toeing around a dancefloor. GAWD, I sound like SUCH a hick! LOL! Anyhow, she peeled like 5-6 bugs before we had to leave for our next stop. I took her to a little cafe'/bar that I like to go to on tuesdays to karoke. Yeah, I know karoke, ugh! lol! Anyhow, I got a couple of songs in and we had to call it a night. Wednesday night, we ended up near downtown, on a party strip, so I took her to a bar that was like a block from my old home here in town. It was so good to be back. She drank quite a bit, and I don't think that that did her in, I think that it was that she drank a little bit of everything! LOL! We met a couple of really nice gals, played some pool, and she started getting sick, so we took off. Well, I had to clean my truck up the next morning, but that's allright, for a select few, I will do such things. Thursday night, we met my best friend at work and one of the gals from the previous evening at a dancehall that I've been going to lately. GOOD TIMES!!! It is so nice to dance with a good follower!! We stayed out kinda late, and getting up friday morning was seriously sucking, but it is all good. Friday night, dang, what is there to say about friday night? LOL!! What a night!! We ate at Hooters, and took off to a Creager concert. For those of you who don't know, and are fans of good music, especially country music, especially if you aren't from Texas, especially if you are tired of the crap coming out of Nashville, especially if you are heart broken, well, this guy is for you. Go to rogercreager.com to check him out!! Yeah, we went to another of my old stomping grounds to see him. It was absolutely awesome. WOW. That's all I can say about it. Anyhow, Saturday my ears were still numb. My equilibrium was shot. And I was euphoric. Anyhow, we slept in on saturday, it was really nice, just hanging out. We went to eat at a historic little cafe' near my place, had the best chicken friend steak (we shared,) mashed potatoes, and okra and tomatoes. Then dessert!! YEAH!! A choclate fudge whisky cake. This is painfully rich. I only had like 5 bites, and had to stop.....My GDS had several more. LOL! Anyhow, then my old roomie came up to visit. We had to make a liquor run, for old-times sake. At the register, with like 15 bottles of hooch, I wanted to get some kicks, so here is what hapened: Me: Dude, how long do you think it's been since I went on a liquor run? My old roomie (MOR): Well, judging from the 20 bottles of booze you have here, I'd say probably like 3 weeks. At this point, all the employees started laughing. Later, outside, MOR was like: Man, they thought I was joking - was the last liquor run you did when you still were back home? Me: Yeah. MOR: They just don't got it, do they? Me: No. LOL!! It was great!! Anyhow, we spent saturday hanging out at the pool, sipping margaritas (my margaritas ROCK!!) and playing with the kids and babies in the pool. Man, I have to get me one of those!! I guess till I get one of my own, I'll just practice making them! LOL! After that we all went out to the dancehall again. Good times!! Sunday, we all got up and went to Mass. Me, my GDS, MOR, SMD, CMD, and CMD's girl. It was really nice, everyone going together. Then me and my GDS and MOR all went to eat at IHOP. MOR left then and me and my GDS came back to do a little work on the apartment and to take one last nap together. It was really nice. Taking her home really sucked. But that was last week.
