How ya'll doin??!?! Things are cool here. Had a good weekend with the GDS. The dance was slightly better than just okay. Okay, actually, it kinda sucked. Except when I was dancing with the GDS, or when I was feeding my minor friend shots illegally. The rest of the time, I just kinda hung out, talked to whoever looked like they were as bored as me, and kept handing out jello shots. Had some frustrations with my company that night - a lot of folks had way too much to drink, and no matter how hard I tried, or what I drank, I couldn't even get started. Anyhow, ate Whataburger, dropped of the GDS, took my buddy home, went to mom and dad's, and crashed. Got up Saturday morning, and chatted a bit with mom....I love my mom and dad, they are so fun to talk to, and so knowledgeable in everything.........it seems. Dad brought lunch, and we all ate. The GDS called and said that I still had stuff in my truck from the party, so I had to go back and take it to her. Got to her house and got to talking, dropped off the stuff, and she convinced me to stay for awhile longer to "visit". It was nice to chat with her, as we've had very little face time as of late. I ended up taking a nap there in the late afternoon, until her mom came home. Talked to her mom for awhile, and we decided to go get some dinner. Got back to the house, and we were both pretty restless, so we went to this old country bar that I hadn't been in in like 8 years. The place is so old that my dad used to hang out there. They had karoke, and I sang a couple of songs. It has settled down a lot since I was there last. And thanfully so!! I was there with a friend of mine that is not white at all, and I honestly didn't think that we were gonna make it out. LOL!! Really - I actually made a game to see how many people I could find that had a head full of teeth! Ran into one of GDS's friends from highschool that was more than a little inebriated. She was really nice, although a bit come-on-ish. Not that I minded at all. Heck, I don't think GDS really minded....lol. I think she kinda thought it was cute....maybe not cute - funny? Something like that. Anyhow, we had to take her home, as her ride took off with a girl that he had dirty intentions with. EEEHHHHH, I can't blame him. So we let her ride us home....I mean, gave her a ride home, and we got back home also, as we were exhausted. I crashed on the floor next to her bed, it was really nice to know that she was there all night, and waking up next to her was VERY cool. Anyhow, she went and got breakfast, we ate, and chilled out at the house. At lunchtime, we went and got something to eat, and went for a drive in the country. Just driving, and listening to music, and talking, and parking. I took her home, and had to head back to Houston. Got home, chilled out, relaxed, and went to bed. Today I had to meet the guy that I've been working with to test some equipment. Have to do it some more tomarrow. UGH. I REALLY don't like doing this, but it will be very useful information once I get to Ukraine, so I'm sticking it out. I guess that's it for now. Ya'll take care, and God bless! The Rat
