Listening to: Robert Earl Keen - Gringo Honeymoon
Feeling: excited
Only a couple of days left!!!! I can't wait to get home and see my baby. I know that I need to pack and move and stuff, but I am planning as muchstuff for us to do as I can. I hope that we get a considerable amount of time together. Maybe we'll get to go toobing again - it was a blast last time.
Things have been kinda slow here on the rig. We are at a point on the well where we pretty much just turn it all ove to specialists. All we are really doing now is setting up equipment and opening and closingvalves for them. The rest has to be done by the guys that come out with it, and know how to run it.
I can't wait until I'm with my new company and able to take on the role of a specialist. To just tell the rig crew waht I want done and hey do it. Basically not even getting my hands dirty. And paid bank for being able to do it. I also can't wait to leave the rigs behind for good andgo back into the family business. That would be really nice.
A couple of folks have been asking what my background is. One of the gusy took this picture o fus working the rig floor while tripping pipe. It was a really good photo of me working, I really liked it, so I get it from him, and since I'm not about putting my identy online (see first entry,) I photoshopped it to a charcoal drawing. This is what I got. I love it, but I think I may change it sometime in the next few weeks, we'll see.
Ya'll take care, and God bless!
Your job sounds fun, although i don't blame you for being glad you're leaving =)
the weather's gotta be nice, though... the weather where i live has been rainy and about 40 degrees out lately. i love NY. =P
the background is very cool.
i like the plan. i don't like getting my hands dirty either. probably just because i'm fucking lazy.
