today was good and to top it all off i found my camera. stupid man told me it wasnt at ritters! what was he even doin in my ritters he didnt belong there! *growls* I really like American Romanticism i put that poem in the entry that says "poem" its really long so i didnt wanna make a new entry that nobody would read... but ill put some good parts in because.. i think they are wonderful "The hills. Rock-ribbed and ancient as the sun, the vales stretching in pensive quietness between; The venerable woods- rivers that move in majesty, and the complaining brooks that make the meadows green; and, poured round all, Old Ocean's gray and melancholy waste,are but the solemn decorations all of the great tomb of man." "and what if thou withdraw in silence from the living, and no friend take note of thy departure? All that breath will share thy destiny." possibly the best one... "To that mysterious realm, where each shall take his chamber in the silent halls of death, thou go not, like the quarry slave at night, scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed by an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave, like one who wraps the drapery of his couch about him, and lies down to pleasant dreams." thats my favorite one right there... hmm to make things less wierd ill say that these writers thought nature was a doorway to God and the universe so... becoming one with nature would be like heaven... yeah.. uh... im done
